Pass the law?

Question

A proposed law: every AI answer must disclose its energy and water cost, right under the response — like calories on a menu.

Accepted Answer

Calorie labels barely changed what people order — but they changed what restaurants dared to put on the menu. Disclosure rules mostly discipline the kitchen, not the customer. (78% of Americans answer "Pass it" — floor est.)
